A Mountain of Activities...
Streams & Dreams provides you and your group fifteen park-like acres along Hoyes Run which is within immediate walking vicinity of the Youghiogheny Wild and Scenic River Corridor. Just step outside to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities:
• View scenery
• Watch the abundant bird and other wildlife
• Play volleyball on our sand court
• Shoot some hoops
• Play with the kids around the tot lot and sand box
• Stroll the half-mile lane along the Youghiogheny River
• Go tubing, hike… or lounge in our island gazebo with a good book.
Between the run, the river, and our spring-fed pond this is as fine a destination as you’ll find, but most of our guests simply soak up the good vibes. Flyfishing lessons are offered on the premises for those who wish to learn how. Many find they need go no further than their own feet will carry them to relax or recharge.

Husky Powered Dog Sledding

See and feel the dogs joyously pull! Enjoy a 1-2 hour kennel visit as above, then see how our excited huskies are harnessed to the sled. Climb aboard our comfortable touring sled or "dogsled-on-wheels," (named "The Touri") and watch the magic begin when the huskies hear “HIKE!” Feel the spirit of many paws as you enjoy about 30 minutes of the thrill of a lifetime. Your adventure will take you on winding, hilly trails through wooded forests, along historic logging roads and/or through pristine wilderness pastures. Mike or Linda will drive your sled or wheeled-sled while explaining mushing commands and skills. It’s an experience to remember! Especially beautiful in Spring greenery and Fall colors!
